William the Conqueror

All aboard for a fabulous adventure!

1066, it is on this date that William, Duke of Normandy, embarks on board the Mora heading for England in order to recover the throne that was promised to him... After this epic William will become The Conqueror, King of England.

The La Mora association wanted to bring this part of history back to life for you thanks to:
- An immersive journey through 1000 years of Norman naval adventures
- At the La Mora ship reconstruction site, discovering the gestures and techniques of the 11th century builders

Discover a 4-room tour through 1000 years of maritime history, from Vikings to caravels, let yourself be carried away by your guide.
Meet Hardouin, William the Conqueror's shipwright, he will prepare you for this maritime epic, then board La Mora, cross the Channel and relive the coronation of William the Conqueror.

Visit the shipyard, this is where La Mora, William the Conqueror's flagship, will come back to life before your eyes. Shipwrights and blacksmiths will introduce you to the construction techniques of the 11th century.

Follow your bike guide for a nature trail around La Mora on the greenway to discover the Normandy Bridge like you've never seen it before!
We
will then go to discover the La Mora site for the immersive tour and the shipyard.

Price: €39 for a mechanical bike

45€ for an electric bike

Rates include a 45-minute guided bike rental, a 35-minute immersive tour ticket, and a 30-40 minute shipyard tour.
